Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game Dream Ungkulpattanasuk of Spitfires – February 15, 2018

In our second game of the night, we had Hertz vs the Sukhumvit Spitfires. The Spitfires seemed to be fired up from their shootout loss to Aware the last time out and they scored 30 seconds after the opening puck drop. They scored 2 more goals in the first period with Hertz scoring 1. The second period had the Spitfires scoring 2 more goals with Hertz again scoring only one. The third period saw both teams scoring 2 goals apiece with the final score, for the Spitfires, 7-4 with the Spitfires’ netminder stopping 45 of 49 shots to earn himself his 3rd in a row Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game.

Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game Andrew Shutsa of Expedia – February 15, 2018

In our first game of the night on February 15, 2018 we had Expedia, the #4 team, facing off against Aware, the #1 team. Things were pretty even between these two teams through half of the first period, when Expedia scored the first one of the night. Expedia scored one more in the first period and Aware scored their first with just 30 seconds left in the first period. Expedia increased their lead to two goals in the second period. Expedia scored their 4th goal 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the third period and Aware scored their second goal at the 10:30 mark of the third period, to give Expedia their first win in 10 games. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Andrew Shutsa for scoring his first SHL career goal.

Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game Kim Lidberg of Hertz – February 11, 2018

In our second game of the night on February 11, 2018, we had the battle for third place, Hertz facing off against Expedia. Hertz was ready for this one and scored 5 minutes into the game. Expedia didn’t tie it up until there were 2 seconds left in the first period. Both teams scored goals in the second period, but Hertz scored 2 goals in the third to give themselves a tenuous hold on third place. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Kim Lidberg for his 2 goals on the night.

In our first game of the night, we had Aware vs the Sukhumvit Spitfires. This game went back and forth with the Spitfires opening it up a minute and a half into the first period and Aware having the lead at the end of the first, then come the end of the second, it was tied up 3-3. Neither team scored in the third frame forcing the first 3-on-3 overtime period this season. Both teams stayed strong forcing a shootout. Both teams went through 5 shooters before the Aware captain scored and the Spitfires captain was stopped to give Aware the win. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Dream Ungkupattanasuk of the Spitfires for the second game in a row for stopping 41 of 44 shots.

The Sport Corner Siam Hockey League News Week 11 – February 04 – February 10, 2018

In our first game of the night, at 8:30, we had Expedia facing off against the Sukhumvit Spitfires. In this game, these two teams really fought it out, and late in the first period, the Spitfires found the back of the net with a goal by Ernesto Bauer, which was assisted by Adrian Meyers. The second period saw these two teams deadlocked with the score still 1-0 at the end of the second period. The third period saw both Expedia tie it up with a goal by Jordan Ashton, which was assisted by Stephen Sproule. The Spitfires took the lead again with a goal by Patrick Forstner, which was assisted by Michael White and Adrian Meyers. The Spitfires increased their lead to 2 when Tan Limpinphet, with Adrian Meyers getting his third assist fo the night. A minute later Expedia scored again to make it 3-2, but they just couldn’t finish it off. The final score of the game was the Spitfires 3, Expedia 2 with Expedia having a slight edge in shots 33-27.

In our first game of the night we had Expedia vs the Sukhumvit Spitfires. This was a really close game, but the Spitfires came out on top with by a score of 3-2. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to the Spitfires netminder Dream Ungkulpattanasuk for stoping 31 of 33 shots.

{VIDEO}  In our second game on February 04, 2018 at 9:30 we had Aware going against Hertz. Aware came out in this one ready to go and sub Beer Thamwongsin scored the first goal of the night at 11:39. Beer scored 2 more goals to give himself a hat-trick with the last one being an empty netter, earning him the Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game.

Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game Brad Wilson of Spitfires – January 28, 2018

In our first game on Sunday 28, January 2018, we had the Sukhumvit Spitfires going head to head with Hertz. Hertz got off to an early lead, but the Spitfires came back and beat Hertz 6-3. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Spitfires’ captain, Brad Wilson for his outstanding play at both ends of the rink and scoring his empty netter at the end of the game.

In our second game of the night on January 25, 2018, we had Aware going head to head with the Sukhumvit Spitfires. The first period saw the Aware take an early lead of 4-1. The second period saw the Spitfires close the gap, but still behind with a score of 5-4. The Spitfires just couldn’t get it done in this one, and Aware scored 2 more goals to finish the game 7-4. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Corry Day for his Patrick in this one.
