In the second match, the Hooters Nana squad were missing key offensive fireplugs Andy Brine and David Blomquist, but they choose not to pick up any replacements and as a result had a hard time matching Aware’s firepower.

Patrik Lundback dominated the second game winning the Rolling Stone Pizza MVP as he had two goals and controlled the tempo of the game throughout. The former Swedish elite player whose past teammates include ex-NHLer Ulf Dahlen seems to glide effortlessly over the Rama 9 ice sheet. Also, scoring for Aware were Devin Keer, Brandon Vick, Tewin Chartsuwan, Darren Boodie and Chanokchan “Tan” Limpinphet. Captain Justin St Denis and Stephen Sproule tallied singles for Hooters. Yves Gaboriault had 19 saves for Aware while Dream stopped 24 shots for Hooters.              

The season continues Monday December 5th at 8:30 with Titanium doing battle against Hooters, while the Sukhumvit Spitfires face off against Aware at 9:30pm.
