In our first game of the night on February 18, 2017 at 8:30, we had Aware going head to head with Hertz. Hertz really turned in a strong game in this match up, scoring 4 goals in the first period. The first goal was by Mike Triacca at 13:35, the second goal was by Champ Supadilokluk at 12:40, the third goal was by Carly Hill at 11:40 and the fourth goal was by Kim Lidberg at 4:50. The second period had Aware trying to mount a comeback with Jouni Heinonen scoring 2 goals, and Beer Thamwongsin scoring the third, but after that, Lance Parker sealed the net down. With half of the second period gone, Hertz scored their 5th goal of the night, this one by Brandon Vick, and the final goal of the night was a short handed goal by Andy Brine, to give Hertz the win of 6-3. The Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Carly Hill for his goal as well as playing strong defensively all night.
