On May 14, 2023 we had game two of the finals between Aware and KCG. Aware’s captain, Harrison Oztemel started things off with a goal almost three minutes in, which was assisted by Patrick Forstner. About midway through the first period, Forstner increased Aware’s lead to two. Less than a minute later, KCG’s Tan Limpinphet reduced Aware’s lead to one again when he scored off an assist from Nick Lampson. With just over two minutes left in the first period, Devin Michael, from Aware, scored to end the period with Aware 3 and KCG 1. Midway through the second period KCG’s Christoph Anlicker passed the puck to Lampson who found Jan Isaksson who reduced the Aware’s lead to one again. Lampson scored a power play goal to tie things up for KCG five minutes into the third period. Just a minute later and Isaksson scored the game winner with the assist coming from Lampson. The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to Tan Limpinphet for his goal and assist.
