The Novotel Spitfires started off this season a little bit on the back foot, but as the season went on, they pulled themselves together and finished off the regular season with nine wins and nine losses. In the playoffs, Novotel Spitfires continued to play solid hockey and beat Hertz to advance to the finals where they faced off against PEAK Biolabs. Novotel Spitfires played a solid game defeating PEAK Biolabs 5-3 to win their first SHL Championship cup.
