Official statement from the Slovakian embassy confirms that His Excellency Mr. Stanislav Opiela will miss the entire 2017/2018 season with an upper body injury. The Slovakian ambassador broke his wrist yesterday evening, September 27, in the late stages of the Thursday shinny session, preparing for the upcoming season. The SHL and Thailand’s entire hockey community wishes him a speedy recovery!
