SiamMandalay vs Lexicon Lumberjacks – May 14, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Mike Freeson
On May 14, 2023 in our second game of the semifinals between SiamMandalay and the Lexicon Lumberjacks. In the first period, SiamMandalay came out and scored three unanswered goals, one from Tom Stastny and two from captain Mike Freeson. In the second period, Lexicon Lumberjacks reduce the lead to one with goals from Ken Kindborn and captain Justin St-Denis. With less than two minutes left in the game, Stastny scored his second of the night, which was an empty net goal, but with just five seconds left in the game, Kindborn scored again, but it just wasn’t enough for the Lumberjacks to push to game three with the final being SiamMandalay 4, Lexicon Lumberjacks 3. The Get Fresh Player of the game went to SiamMandalay captain, Mike Freeson for two goals and two assits.
Aware vs KCG – May 14, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Tan Limpinphet
On May 14, 2023 we had game two of the finals between Aware and KCG. Aware’s captain, Harrison Oztemel started things off with a goal almost three minutes in, which was assisted by Patrick Forstner. About midway through the first period, Forstner increased Aware’s lead to two. Less than a minute later, KCG’s Tan Limpinphet reduced Aware’s lead to one again when he scored off an assist from Nick Lampson. With just over two minutes left in the first period, Devin Michael, from Aware, scored to end the period with Aware 3 and KCG 1. Midway through the second period KCG’s Christoph Anlicker passed the puck to Lampson who found Jan Isaksson who reduced the Aware’s lead to one again. Lampson scored a power play goal to tie things up for KCG five minutes into the third period. Just a minute later and Isaksson scored the game winner with the assist coming from Lampson. The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to Tan Limpinphet for his goal and assist.
KCG vs Aware – May 11, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Nick Lampson
On May 11, 2023, in our second playoff game of the night, we had KCG, the number two team going against Aware, the number three team. Aware opened things up early in the first period with a goal by Ernesto Bauer. KCG answered back with two goals, one by Jan Isaksson and on by Tan Limpinphet. In the second period, KCG scored three unanswered goals. A second goal from Isaksson and two goals from Nick Lampson. Early in the third period, Lampson netted his third goal of the night, but Aware did score one more when returning star, Corry Day found the back of the net. It just wasn’t enough to get Aware going though, and KCG scored two more, a third by Isaksson and a fourth by Lampson. The final score of the game was 8-3 for KCG. The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to Nick Lampson for his four goals and three assists.
Lexicon Lomberjacks vs SiamMandalay – May 11, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Mike Freeson
The SHL playoffs started off on May 11, 2023. In our first game of the night, we had the regular season winners, Lexicon Lumberjacks facing off against the number four seed, SiamMandalay. Mike Freeson, captain of SiamMandalay started things off in style with the opening goal less than a minute into the first period. Kim Aarola tied things up for the Lexicon Lumberjacks early in the second period, but SiamMandalay scored three unanswered goals, one by Tom Stastny, one by CJ Gamble and a second by Freeson, which gave Freeson the Get Fresh Player of the Game.
SiamMandalay vs KCG – April 02, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Tan Limpinphet
On April 02, 2023, our final game of the regular season, we had SiamMandalay vs KCG. KCG started off on fire with goals from Jan Isaksson, Tan Limpinphet and Yean Thanakroekkiat. With less than a minute left in the first period, SiamMandalay did answer back with goals from Jeff Bonazzo and Mike Freeson. At 14:15, Tom Stastny tied things up for SiamMandalay with a short handed goal, but KCG took the lead again with a two goals from Isaksson and a second goal from Limpinphet. Isaksson got two more goals in the third period, but SiamMandalay wasn’t finished. Freeson scored his second of the night and so did Stastny to make the final score 5-8 for KCG. Tan Limpinphet of KCG scored two goals and put up five assists to earn himself the Get Fresh Player of the Game.
Lexicon Lumberjacks vs Aware – April 04, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Roger Promthong
On April 02, 2023, we had our final games of the regular season. In our first game we had Lexicon Lumberjacks vs Aware. Lexicon Lumberjacks scored a pair of goals, one from Kim Aarola and one from captain, Justin St-Denis. About midway through the second period, Aware’s Mathieu Maillard scored to bring the score to 2-1, but Lexicon Lumberjacks scored another pair of goals, a second from St-Denis and one from Roger Promthong to make it 4-1. Early in the third period, Aarola scored his second of the night. later in the third, Yean Thanakroekkiat scored for Aware to make the final 5-2. Roger Promthong got a goal and an assist to earn himself the Get Fresh Player of the Game.
Aware vs SiamMandalay – March 26, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Devin Michael
On March 26, 2023, in our second game of the night, we had Aware vs SiamMandalay. SiamMandalay started things off late in the first period when Adam Simpson found the back of the net. In the second period, Aware scored three unanswered goals, one each from Yean Thanakroekkiat, Mangkorn Sukwiboon and Harrison Oztemel. In the third period, Aware increased their lead to 6-1 with goals from Mathieu Maillard, Devin Michael and a second from Sukwiboon. SiamMandalay finished things off with twelve seconds left in the game when Tom Stastny scored a goal to make the final 6-2. Devin Michael of Aware earned the Get Fresh Player of the Game for his goal and three assists.
KCG vs Lexicon Lumberjacks – March 26, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Ben Kleineschay
On March 26, 2023, in our first game of the night, we had a head to head match up between our top teams, KCG and Lexicon Lumberjacks. Justin St-Denis, captain of the Lexicon Lumberjacks scored the first goal of the game less than a minute in. With less than a minute left in the first period, KCG’s Nick Lampson tied things up. In the third period, Lexicon Lumberjacks seized the win with goals from Mark Vatsis, Roger Phromthong and John Schachnovsky to end the game 4-1. Lexicon Lumberjacks goalie, Ben Kleineschay stopped 37 of 38 shots to earn the Get Fresh Player of the Game.
Aware vs KCG – March 19, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game James Speck
On March 19, 2023, in our second game of the night, we had Aware vs KCG. Nick Lampson of KCG scored the first goal of the night three minutes into the game, but Aware struck back hard with two goals from captain Harrison Oztemel and a goal from Devin Michael. KCG attempted to make a comeback in the second period with a goal from Jan Isaksson, but it would not be. With just over four minutes left in the second period, Oztemel scored his third of the night. In the third period, Aware struck hard again with goals from Michael, Yean Thanakroekkiat, Gabe Rosko, and Mathieu Maillard to finish the game off 8-2. The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to netminder James Speck for stopping 39 of 41 shots.
