Player registration is now open!

The Siam Hockey League invites you all to its third season. Please study the attached League Flyer for more detailed information.

Siam Hockey Leauge Registration

Note that this is a competitive non-contact league with most of the best players in the country. Similar to previous years, a live “draft” will be held at a sponsor bar, with everyone invited. The league will start Oct 11th 2018 and wrap up by mid-April 2019. 4-5 teams capped at 13 skaters is expected. We also requests that substitute players register already now.

Jersey Number & Uniform Size

Dear all,

Thank you for registering full-time for the upcoming 2017/2018 season! The sign-up phase is now closed. The draft date will be announced soon and please note that not everyone that signed up for the league full-time will actually end up on a team. Players that go un-drafted will automatically be assigned to the list of league substitutes.

New for this year is that we want to offer the possibility for you to chose your jersey number. In preparation for the draft and uniform order, please take 30 seconds to indicate your size of jersey and socks, as well as your jersey number.

The deadline for you to indicate sizes and jersey number is Sunday September 10, 6PM. Please do not delay – fill in your request today!

We reserve the right to assign any number if you do not submit your preference and we will do our best to fulfill all uniform sizing requests, subject to availability.

REGISTRATION NEWS:
Khun Jantaphong (Moo) Tengsakul, had a shortened season due to National Team duties last year. But his 1.5 points/game average will most likely see him drafted high also in the 2017/2018 season.

Unfortunately, Jeto’s agent has announced that his client will have to change his status from full-time to substitute, due to required surgery to fix an upper-body injury. We wish Panithi (Jeto) Nawasmittawong a speedy recovery!

“We are of course overwhelmed with the positive interest in the league; but the reality is that only 4 goalies, 20 D, and 32 forwards will be drafted and play full-time.

The toughest part will be to to notify players that have signed up but don’t get picked in the draft.”

Another top end player, Tewin (Thor) Chartsuwan, is added to the list of quality SHL substitutes. Khun Thor is taking on new business opportunities currently; preventing him to commit full-time, but we are happy for every game he can play in!
