This week, Zack and Dom are joined in the studio by Aware’s goaltender, Lance Parker.
On March 28th, 2021 in our first game of the night at 9:00 pm, we had Novotel Spitfires vs Siam Mandalay. Novotel looked on form, when seven minutes, Seb Verdy scored a short handed goal. Siam Mandalay answered right back when Mitchel Morrison put one past Ben Kleineschay. Siam Mandalay scored two more unanswered goals in the first period, one by Win Khuhakaew and one by Mike Wilson. Early in the second period, Siam Mandalay scored their fourth unanswered goal, which was by Darius Konotopetz. The Spitfires did try to mount a comeback with Ken Kindborn scoring with just under eight minutes left in the second period, but Siam Mandalay just kept rolling and captain Jordan Ashton found the back of the net. Early in the third period, Siam Mandalay’s Homme Thaiyanont scored an unassisted goal, but Novotel wasn’t finished yet and they scored two goals, both from Major Ingkharratphithakon, but with just over thirty seconds left in the game, Siam Mandalay scored an empty netter to finish things off. The final score was Novotel Spitfires 4 – Siam Mandalay 7.
