SiamMandalay vs Lexicon Lumberjacks – May 14, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Mike Freeson

On May 14, 2023 in our second game of the semifinals between SiamMandalay and the Lexicon Lumberjacks. In the first period, SiamMandalay came out and scored three unanswered goals, one from Tom Stastny and two from captain Mike Freeson. In the second period, Lexicon Lumberjacks reduce the lead to one with goals from Ken Kindborn and captain Justin St-Denis. With less than two minutes left in the game, Stastny scored his second of the night, which was an empty net goal, but with just five seconds left in the game, Kindborn scored again, but it just wasn’t enough for the Lumberjacks to push to game three with the final being SiamMandalay 4, Lexicon Lumberjacks 3. The Get Fresh Player of the game went to SiamMandalay captain, Mike Freeson for two goals and two assits.

Lexicon Lomberjacks vs SiamMandalay – May 11, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Mike Freeson

The SHL playoffs started off on May 11, 2023. In our first game of the night, we had the regular season winners, Lexicon Lumberjacks facing off against the number four seed, SiamMandalay. Mike Freeson, captain of SiamMandalay started things off in style with the opening goal less than a minute into the first period. Kim Aarola tied things up for the Lexicon Lumberjacks early in the second period, but SiamMandalay scored three unanswered goals, one by Tom Stastny, one by CJ Gamble and a second by Freeson, which gave Freeson the Get Fresh Player of the Game.

SiamMandalay vs KCG – February 12, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game Dream Ungkulpattanasuk

On February 12, 2023, in our second game of the night we had SiamMandalay vs KCG. Late in the first period, SiamMandalay’s Jeff Bonazzao scored the first goal of the game, but KCG answered right back with a goal by Jan Isaksson and a second by Yean Thanakkrokriat. In the second period, SiamMandalay’s captain, Mike Freeson, tied things up. Mid way through the second period, Isaksson scored his second of the night to give KCG the lead again. With less than five minutes left in the second period, Tom Stastny of SiamMandalay, tied things up. With just over a minute left in the third period, Bonazzo scored to give SiamMandalay the lead, but with just a second left in the game, Thanakkrokriat tied things up again. The overtime period saw some furious action, but neither team could get the win, forcing the game to a shootout. Stastny couldn’t put one past Dom Vollenheider, but Thanakkrokriat scored for KCG. SiamMandalay’s net minder, Dream Ungkulpattanasuk had a great game between the pipes to get himself the Get Fresh Player of the Game.

Aware vs SiamMandalay – January 15, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game

On January 15, 2023, in our first game of the night, we had Aware going head to head with SiamMandalay. SiamMandalay took and early lead, but in the third, Aware did their best to come back, but there just wasn’t enough time. SiamMandalay won this one 4-2 with the Get Fresh Player of the Game going to SiamMandalay captain, Mike Freeson.

SiamMandalay vs Lexicon Lumberjacks – January 08, 2023 – Get Fresh Player of the Game

On January 8, 2023, in our second game of the night, we had SiamMandalay going head to head with the Lexicon Lumberjacks. SiamMandalay took and early lead, but Lexicon took the lead early in the third period. SiamMandalay kept fighting back, tying it late in the third period forcing overtime with Tom Stastny getting the game winner in the overtime period 4-3.

Aware vs SiamMandalay – November 27, 2022 – Get Fresh Player of the Game

In our second game of the night we had Aware vs SiamMandalay. SiamMandalay really came together as a team and dominated Aware and won this game 8-2. The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to Tom Stastny for his hat trick and assist.

Week 4 of the 2022-2023 Season (S06EP05)

This week Zack Block is joined in the studio by Lance Parker, one of the goalies for the Lexicon Lumberjacks. They talk about how much of a dominant force the Lexicon Lumberjacks have become and what does SiamMandalay need to do to finally put one in the win column.

Week 1 Games – 16 October 2022

In our first week of games at 8:30 we had KCG vs Aware. The first period was pretty quiet with neither team scoring any goals, but KCG started things off early in the second period when Brandon Vick scored with the assist coming from Jesse Starosta. Aware did answer back when Oleg Kabakov scored an unassisted goal. With under eleven minutes left in the second period, KCG took the lead again when Jan Isaksson scored with the assists coming from Nick Lampson and Roman Larin. Three minutes later, Aware tied things up again when Kabakov scored his second unassisted goal of the night. In the third period, KCG scored three unanswered goals, on each from David Boere, Roman Larin and Thor Chartsuwan to give KCG a 5-2 win.

The Get Fresh Player of the Game went to new goalie Dom Vollenweider for stopping 19 of 21 shots.

In our second game of the night we had SiamMandalay going head to head with the Lexicon Lumberjacks. The Lexicon Lumberjacks scored two unanswered goals in the first period. A power play goal by Mark Vatsis, and another by Kim Aarola. In the second period, Dan Sinaguglia brought the game within one for SiamMandalay with the assist going to Jeff Bonazzo. Jari Eerikainen increased Lexicon Lumberjacks to two again with Justin St-Denis getting his second assist of the night. Sinaguglia again brought the score within one for SiamMandalay when he scored an unassisted goal late in the second period. Early in the third period, SiamMandalay tied the game up when Tom Stastny scored off an assist from Saku Rantanen. Aarola scored two unanswered goals for the Lexicon Lumberjacks to give them a 5-3 win over SiamMandalay.

Week 2 will be on October 23rd. In our first game of the night at 8:30 we have Aware vs SiamMandalay. Will Harrison Oztemel break away from last year’s Aware curse and be able to beat Mike Freeson’s SiamMandalay or will Freeson use Stastny to tump Aware?

In our second game of the night we have Lexicon Lumberjacks facing off against KCG. Will Lexicon Lumberjack’s captain, Justin St-Denis, be able to win their second game in a row or will first time captain, Jesse Starosta be able to lead KCG to their second victory.
