On November 7th, 2019 we had our 4th week of games.
In our first game of the night, we had PEAK Biolabs vs Aware. PEAK started things off quickly, scoring less than a minute into the first by Jesse Starosta, which was assisted by John Schachnovsky. With less that five minutes left in the first period Andy Tse of Aware tied things up by coast to coast and scoring an unassisted goal. With just over a minute left in the first period, PEAK took the lead when Starosta scored his second goal of the night which was assisted by Sen Ranger and Schachnovsky. Aware tied things up again with five and a half minutes left in the second period with a goal by Corry Day, which was assisted by Tse. A minute later, PEAK took the lead for the third time with a goal by Henrik Olofsson, which was assisted by Anders Olofsson. With under two minutes left in the second period, Day scored his second of the night to tie things up, with the assist coming from Justin St-Denis. The third period saw Aware come alive and four unanswered goals. One by Brandon Vick, one by Adrian Meyers one by St-Denis and Day picked up a hat trick on the night. With just twelve seconds left in the game, PEAK finally got another goal, this one being Henrik Olofsson’s second of the night. The final score of the game was 7-4 for Aware with Corry Day getting the Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game for his hat trick and assist.
In our second game of the night we had Hertz going head to head with Novotel Spitfires. Novotel drew first blood less than a minute in to the first period with a goal by Adam Teodorsson, which was assisted by Bill Bredesen. Just over a minute later, Hertz answered back with a goal by Vlasti Nagibin, which was assisted by Non Aekkasemnarong and Alex Phelps. Hertz took the lead with two minutes left in the first period with a second goal by Nagibin, which was assisted by Phelps. The Spitfires tied things up less than a minute into the second period with a goal by Bredesen, which was assisted by Twodorsson. Novotel scored three more unanswered goals, one by Caley Steinert, one by Mike Freeson, and Bredesen scored his second of the night. With four minutes left in the second period Major Ingkharratphithakon scored for Hertz with the assist coming from Jaren Folden and Roman Larin. The Novotel Spitfires held Hertz at bay for the majority of the third period, but with 16 seconds left in the game, Hertz brought it within one when Hertz captain, Jordan Ashton scored with the assists coming from Ingkharrathpithakon and Folden. The final score of the game was Novotel Spitfires 5 Hertz 4 wit the Rolling Stone Pizza Player of the Game went to Bill Bredesen for his two goals and assist.
